Time Machine, our first-launched technology initially sponsored by a generous grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, was inspired by proven therapeutic methodologies not always accessible to under-resourced communities. For organizations seeking to improve the lives of those in marginalized communities and/or people impacted by poverty, trauma, abuse, addiction and incarceration, partnering with TILT to deliver the three supportive and transformative Time Machine tools within the communities you touch will amplify your impact by giving people access to scalable trauma recovery.
In Q2 of 2022, we piloted Time Machine in the Cook County Department of Corrections. We took our success and learnings from that pilot to create a successful pilot in Q4 of 2024 in Oklahoma With our user-collaborators from the Ponca, Cherokee, Caddo, and Muscogee tribes. With your funding dollars, we plan to create a version of the app that resonates with their cultural heritage(s), facilitates traditional Native storytelling, provides a tool to reconcile past traumas with future aspirations, and connects them to relevant tribal resources. The pilot participants want to remind everyone that, "We are still here!", and they concluded the pilot with an "Aho!"
