South Florida Wildlands Association works to protect wildlife and wildlife habitat in the Greater Everglades. On public lands, we seek management plans which put the protection of wildlife and natural resources ahead of recreational and other considerations. On private lands, South Florida Wildlands works to ensure that Florida's rapid pace of development does not destroy, degrade, and fragment rare wildlife species, wetlands, and other critical features of the natural environment in the process.
