The Freedom Area Educational Foundation was created to benefit the students of the Freedom Area School District, comprising the communities of Conway and Freedom Boroughs, and New Sewickley Township.
The purpose of the non-profit (IRS 501c3) Foundation is to enhance and enrich the quality of the educational experience and extracurricular activities within the district beyond what is typically expected of taxpayer funding.
The Freedom Area Educational Foundation is designed to fund three primary initiatives:
1. Higher Education Scholarships for Students
2. Grants for Innovative Teaching Efforts
3. Improvements to Athletic and other Facilities
