Saffron Kitchen Project

At Saffron Kitchen Project we offer free culinary vocational training in partnership with IEK Delta, a Greek educational center, for refugees. The training provides a combination of culinary and soft skills, including teamwork and time management. Recognised by the Greek Ministry of Education, each graduate receives an accredited certificate. As well as the training students obtain employability workshop, support writing their CVs and are connected to jobs within the Greek hospitality industry

At Saffron Kitchen Project (SKP) our mission is to support displaced people in building healthy, autonomous lives, using food as a toolkit. We are a community that leverages food so people can eat, cook, learn and most importantly, feel that they belong. We are a registered non-profit organisation that creates high quality, nutritious meals for vulnerable communities in Athens and employ chefs from the refugee community.
