Rivendel exists to provide a care-for-life home for unadoptable, undesirable animals facing premature euthanasia. Rivendel provides a home for all types of pets and farm animals. Our passion and priority is towards equines as they are commonly the most misunderstood and mistreated of all domesticated creatures. They come here to mend broken bones and heal shattered spirits. To learn to love and trust again. To have their medical and nutritional needs met and, above all, to live in peace. Although you cannot "un do" the damage caused by abuse and neglect we strive to ensure that the remainder of their days are filled with love and care.
