The mission of the University of Florida Foundation is to promote the University, increase philanthropy, manage and grow the endowment, ensure the appropriate use of funds and pursue best governance practices.The UF Foundation was founded in 1934 to strengthen, benefit and assist the University of Florida. It supports the work of UF Advancement as the university's fundraising and fund management partner. We help connect donors with their passions through the university and serve as a fiduciary, preserving institutional assets and resources while ensuring sound, ethical and legal governance.
