Children in Burundi + Cambodia are often imprisoned for petty crimes or crimes they did not commit. In Cambodia, children can be be held in adult prisons while awaiting trial, exposing them to serious risk, such as sexual/predatorial abuse. Poor, frightened + alone, these children have no legal counsel + nowhere to turn. The consequences are devastating. IBJ's Juvenile Justice project will give 250 children early access to a trained + compassionate lawyer. Give children the gift of justice!
