The Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Art (MoCADA) celebrates the cultural breadth of Africa and its diaspora through a diverse range of exhibitions as well as educational and community-based programs. Established in 1999, MoCADA is Brooklyn's first and only museum dedicated to the creation and interpretation of contemporary African diasporan art and culture. Since our inception, MoCADA has contributed to the revitalization of Brooklyn neighborhoods while championing artistic achievement across multiple disciplines.
