ACA continues to actively work with our partners by providing backbone support to help assist them in
their missions.
We continue to invest in increasing and diversifying our pool of volunteers and have been working on
refining our organisational structure, practices and procedures in keeping with the recommendations of
Volunteering Australia. They also have access to a dedicated volunteer able to provide both admin and
emotional support and referrals to other services if needed.
Our volunteers assist with the day to day maintenance of databases, documents and our website, and
also collaborate 'behind the scenes' with various projects led by our partners, who in turn actively
address issues relating to matters such as public awareness of non-communicable diseases, climate
change impact, as well as matters relating to health and welfare in the community.
As such, we can respond to any local non-profit organisations that approach us for support and continue
to update our website accordingly.
