Madam Shu is a single mother with five children living in Bamenda - Cameroon. Two of her children, Joy and Queeniva, have sickle cell: a condition with a high mortality rate. To improve their odds, Joy and Queeniva need monthly treatment as well as healthy eating and living conditions. Madam Shu lives on very limited income and can't afford to give them the minimum standards in treatment.
