To lessen the WASH issue caused by the insufficient access to clean and safe water, shortage of students latrines' drop-holes in the primary schools in the Mbozi District, SHIPO plans to build the girls' latrine block (8-drop holes/rooms, 1 changing room or MHM unit with installed incinerator); and water project facilities (with 1 water point, hand washing facility with 8 hygienic taps installed) at Isalalo Primary School by December 2023.

NJUWASA, responsible for supplying water in Njombe town, struggles with frequent service disruptions, leaving areas like Mgendela, Joshini (B), and Mjimwema Ward without reliable water, especially from June to December. Residents rely on an open spring, but contamination from waste disposal, livestock grazing, and nearby farming poses significant health risks. Addressing these challenges requires better infrastructure, waste management, and community efforts to ensure safe water access.
